Kelsey Grammer Discusses His Natal Mars
Earlier this year there was a story on the Wall Street Journal’s website that featured an interview with actor Kelsey Grammer, and in the interview he briefly discusses his own birth chart.
I meant to post a link to the article a while ago, although I’m just now getting caught up on a backlog of stories like this.
The article starts off by saying that Grammer, who is primarily known for his roles in the television shows Cheers and Frasier, is “a believer in astrology, psychics and the paranormal…”
Towards the end of the interview it becomes apparent why this statement was made when there is a brief exchange about astrology:
[Interviewer:] Pisces are called indecisive, but you didn’t have trouble making up your mind about doing a big Broadway show.
[Grammer:] My Mars is in Aries.
[Interviewer:] I don’t know what that means.
[Grammer:] My ability to make decisions is actually pretty solid because of that warring planet.
And that’s it. Nothing earth-shattering, although I thought that it was an interesting exchange.
AstroDatabank has a page on Grammer, although unfortunately no birth time yet. It is true that he has a rather prominent Mars in Aries though, as part of a larger T-square with Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune.

its nice to see people following astrology and have read about it too that they know the quality of the planet and strenghts of thier horoscope. quite an interesting post
If I’m not mistaken he produced “Medium,” so not surprised to learn he’s a friend of astrology. Welcome to the club, Brother Kelsey!
I wonder if he forgot to consult with his astrologer about his impending marriage? Saturn is squaring his Venus, Venus is opposing his Uranus and Mars is on his Sun on his wedding date.
