Evander Holyfield Allegedly Hits Wife During Rx Mars
Boxing legend Evander Holyfield is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Today his wife alleged that he hit her several times on the night of Feb. 1 after she refused to show him check stubs for money that she recently gave to a church.
Apparently the boxing great became infuriated because he felt that his wife had shown disrespect towards him.
USA Today has some quotes from a complaint filed by Holyfield’s wife:
“He said that I was being disrespectful,” Candi Holyfield, 30, said in the Feb. 3 court filing. “He started telling me that I needed to start putting God first in my life.”
Holyfield is born with an belligerent Mars-Saturn opposition on the Leo-Aquarius axis. His natal Mars is at 4 degrees of Leo, and on the evening of Feb. 1st, transiting Mars was at 8 degrees of Leo approaching a full Mars return.
Today, Feb 11, when the news broke about trouble in Holyfield’s domestic life, transiting Mars is conjunct his natal Mars at 4 degree Leo and opposing his natal Saturn at 4 degree Aquarius, activating what is a difficult natal combination.
