Introduction: Michael Jackson’s Time of Birth

The question of Michael Jackson’s time of birth was already a major source of controversy amongst astrologers while he was still alive, and it is likely to remain so unless documented proof ever surfaces. Perhaps frustrated Obama “birthers” looking for a greater cause might consider pitching in to help free MJ’s birth record from the jealous clutches of Indiana bureaucracy.

In both my consultation work and research interests, I have often come across people for whom documented birth times are either non-existent or unavailable, and I have spent a great deal of time working out ways to reach an astrological understanding of their lives without having that crucial detail on hand. Now, while many people may not know or care to reveal their time of birth, the availability of dates and places of birth is far more common, and I have learned over the years to make maximum use of that information.

Those who have either read my previous articles or seen one of my live presentations knows that I tend to discuss very simple astrological principles in a very detailed context, taking very basic concepts like recurrence transits – whereby a natal planetary aspect is mirrored by the same planets in transit – and demonstrating their presence using an extensive series of examples.

My article last June following Michael Jackson’s death is a good example of this approach: In the article (which you should really read before digging into this monster of a series), I illustrated how the recurring conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune every 13 years demarcated very distinct and major turning points in his life, including his very birth and death. Now, naturally one planetary configuration does not a horoscope make, and even without being certain of his birth time there is still plenty more that could be said about his chart using this stripped-down approach.

However, this particular article is anything but stripped-down, for the following reasons:

In my previous article I used the most credible of available sources at the time, Basil Fearrington, as a default when posting chart diagrams. Fearrington, a professional musician who played for the opening act on MJ’s History tour sometime between September 1996 and October 1997, asked MJ in person (probably sometime between September 1996 and October 1997). According to Fearrington:

“I was initially given a time of ‘after 10:30 PM’ by Jackson himself. My initial rectification of 11:57 PM turned out to be just four minutes late; the actual time of 11:53 PM was confirmed by a Jackson representative whom I had occasion to meet.”

Fearrington’s representative was a Jackson publicist that he met through Michael’s former manager, Frank DiLeo, who was fired in 1989.

Of course, for my previous article the time of birth was inconsequential with respect to the central point, since the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction recurrence transits would be present regardless of what actual time he was born, considering his date and place of birth are undisputed and widely known (August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana).

However, since the publication of that article other astrologers have surfaced who say they have obtained a different time of birth directly from Jackson. For example, Indian astrologer Chakrapani Ullal revealed only after MJ’s death that he had given him a chart reading during the late 1980s, quoting him for 7:33 PM. The fact of the matter is that we have conflicting information and no non-astrological means of authenticating one statement over the other.

As a result of these conflicting sources, what I am going to do in this series of articles is contrast the two most widely used conflicting birth times/horoscopes, the ones obtained by Fearrington and by Ullal. The goal is to settle the matter decisively by examining both times within the context of transits during all manner of events in Jackson’s life, from 1965 to 2009. And folks, we’re definitely taking the scenic route – no short cuts.

Michael Jackson’s Mother’s Account of His Birth

Michael’s birth is described as following in his mother Katherine Scruse Jackson’s autobiography, The Jacksons: My Family (St. Martin’s, 1990, p. 19-20), in which she states:

I remember that day well because my water broke while my neighbor Mildred White and I were driving over to see the new grammar school under construction, Garnett Elementary. “Oh, my God, Mildred, I can’t sit in your car like this!” I exclaimed. “Girl, don’t worry about it,” Mildred said, turning the car around. At my request, Mildred drove me home. I called my mother and she and my stepfather drove me to Mercy Hospital. Shortly after I got there, I began having contractions. Later that night, my son was born. “I want to name him,” my mother said. I hated her first suggestion: Ronald. “How about Roy, then?”

“Oh, my gosh, Mama, no.”

She thought for a little while. “I’ve got it – Michael.”

“That’s it,” I said.

That’s a pretty good account, albeit from a woman who had nine children (a tenth, Marlon Jackson’s twin, died at birth). Later on the same page, she accidentally gives Janet Jackson’s birthday as “August 16, 1966″, even though it is well known that it is actually May 16, 1966. For what its worth, that is the best first-hand account we have, outside from what astrologers have reported.

Some Preliminary Remarks on Rectification

When it comes to rectifying birth times, a practice I have engaged in frequently over the years, there is one principle to keep firm in mind: no matter how accurate the results, it is still merely speculation, an educated guess, and should never be confused to have value comparable to a documented birth time provided from either official or family archives.

The best one can hope to do with chart rectification is to make a really good argument, arrived at following a thorough and hopefully unbiased investigation. It is without a doubt a valuable exercise for an astrologer of any level, just as a student of any discipline benefits from the process of creating a well-developed hypothesis. No astrologer should ever be considered too inexperienced or experienced to make the attempt.

Michael Jackson is perhaps the most worthy candidate I know for constructing a detailed birth time rectification, and the fact that he is ultra-famous and only recently deceased is merely coincidental to this reason. He makes a great study because he has an extremely well-documented childhood. I have studied hundreds of biographies for astrological research, and only Mozart or some royal figures come close, but not nearly as close, for providing access to a generously-dated chronology for events in the pre-teen years.

Michael was a touring musician from the age of seven, and appeared regularly on television and recordings from the age of eleven. We can never say we knew the man, but we certainly never took our eyes off of him. Of course, the fact that he was a child celebrity is largely central to why we have this information, but that is besides the point. The point is that, at some level, we know where he was and what he was doing every year of his life from the age of seven onward, and despite his well-guarded private life, many of his most personal struggles are very well-known to us.

We have thirty-nine years of pretty much uninterrupted documented access to his physical changes from childhood to middle age, much of it at anyone’s disposal on YouTube. To have this amount of material available to study someone whose ongoing physical transformation was so extreme marks a unique opportunity in astrology. This blog, in tribute to Michael’s own work ethic, seeks to go the epic distance and put everything available into the work.

I confess that part of my delight in doing this series is the fact that there are two charts for which I can actually make rather strong arguments. In the final summary chapter I will render my verdict between the two birth times, but not until I have really made my best possible case for both. I am going to make such a good argument for the chart I don’t happen to favor, that I am half-hoping it will convince some readers to choose it instead.

Ultimately, what this article demonstrates more than anything is that there is solid, factual, interesting and illuminating astrology to be observed, even in instances where a birth time is not at hand.

Reading the Charts Contained in this Series

There are a few things to know about the chart diagrams before proceeding.

a) Charts that are timed to an exact or closely approximate minute are calculated with the Porphyry house system, while all charts for which no hour or minute is known are calculated using the Solar Sign house system. This system is used to immediately inform the reader whether a given Lunar degree is exact or approximate, always an important factor to consider. Angle positions are only shown for timed charts.

b) Despite the fact that charts are calculated with the Porphyry and Solar Sign house systems, the actual house system I use for interpretation is the Whole Sign House system. I observe transits closely, and always see the shift in life topics coincide with Tropical sign ingresses. This will be demonstrated here and there in the article, but for general purposes, the reader should know that when I say, for example, that a given planet is in the 6th house, that means simply the sixth Tropical sign from the rising sign. A given planet in the rising sign that is above the horizon will still be considered to be in the 1st house, etc. Using the Porphyry house cusps allows me to put the Ascendant on the horizon, and it trisects each of the chart’s four quadrants evenly, providing an easy measurement of distance between any point and either of its two flanking angles. These are visual considerations that I consider to be useful.

c) Although Chiron is shown in every chart diagram, I am basically ignoring it for this blog, on the grounds that I would never use it in rectification. However, readers interested in Chiron would do well to note its transiting position relative to Michael’s natal chart in each of the diagrams, for their own learning purposes. There are definitely some interesting things there. I hope to write about my Chiron observations in future articles, so that is all I will say on the matter for now.

d) I use the Tropical zodiac, but most of the material examined is factual regardless of which zodiac is used. Only in my summary will I even mention the matter of sign rulership, relative to its use in the Tropical zodiac, a fundamental point of contradiction between it and the Sidereal zodiac. Astrologers who do use the Sidereal zodiac are still likely to see the bulk of this material as being consistent with their own views to some degree.

Presenting the Two Charts: Similarities pose problems

Now it comes to presenting all the pertinent evidence I’ve gathered to explore the matter. First, let’s look at the two natal charts on their own.

Fearrington’s birth time gives a Gemini Ascendant with an Aquarius Midheaven, with Saturn opposite the Ascendant in Sagittarius and the Moon in Pisces squaring both ends from the top of the chart.

Chakrapani’s time gives a Pisces Ascendant conjunct the natal Moon with a Sagittarius Midheaven conjunct natal Saturn

One of the best reasons for using these two particular charts to explore their relative merits in rectification is the set of problems presented by their similarities. Having been most likely born sometime at night (given his mother’s account), Michael Jackson had a natal Saturn-Moon square in Sagittarius-Pisces respectively, any time throughout that evening.

With the earlier, Pisces rising chart, Saturn is exactly conjunct the Midheaven in Sagittarius, and with the later, Gemini rising chart, Saturn is very closely conjunct the Descendant. In other words, regardless, we have a very angular Saturn, likely to be very responsive to transits and synastry regardless of which time of birth is accurate. Similarly, the Moon is close to the Ascendant with the Pisces rising, and at the top of the sky at a 90-degree angle to the Gemini rising, and is therefore also going to have a lot to say about MJ’s life and character.

Besides the Moon-Saturn square, Michael’s natal chart has another square between Mars in Taurus and Mercury retrograde, either in the 12th and 3rd houses with Gemini rising, or in the 3rd and 6th with Pisces rising. MJ also had a natal conjunction between Venus and Uranus in Leo, again in either the 3rd or 6th house. There is, of course the triple conjunction of the North Node and Jupiter in Libra and Neptune in Scorpio, which I have already discussed in detail in the last article, using the Gemini rising chart, which spreads that aspect across the 5th and 6th houses. With Pisces rising, the aspect now spans the 8th and 9th.

Synastry Review: The Supporting Cast (Listed In Chronological Order Of Birth)

Michael’s natal chart and its various components will be expanded on further, relative to all the other charts it will be presented with. Before looking at his life in its own right in following installments, this chapter concludes with an astrological view of the most important people in his life.

Joe Jackson

Michael’s father, Joseph Walter Jackson, was born on July 26, 1929 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas. Like almost everyone in the Jackson family, no time of birth is known. The oft-derided patriarch is the second-most important key to the family’s success, his dedication and vision during the group’s formative years being eclipsed only by his uniquely talented and equally driven son.

Joe Jackson has natal Venus and Jupiter in Gemini, the latter of which is close to the Ascendant in the Gemini rising chart, and right on the IC of the Pisces rising chart. Joe’s natal Mars in Virgo is opposite Michael’s natal Moon, from the 4th to 10th house in the Gemini rising chart, and from the 1st to the 7th in the Pisces rising chart.

Berry Gordy

Motown label founder Berry Gordy, born November 28, 1929 in Detroit, time unknown. He signed the Jackson Five to a seven-year record contract, and made their early success possible by polishing their act and providing them with their hit-making material.

He has a triple conjunction of the Sun, Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius, square his own natal Neptune and Michael’s natal Pluto and Sun in Virgo. With Gemini rising, the synastry square is in Michael’s 4th and 7th houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 7th and 10th houses.

Like Joe Jackson, who was also born in 1929, Gordy has natal Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Sagittarius. With Gemini rising, these are in the 1st and 7th houses. With Pisces rising, they are in the 4th and 10th houses.

Gordy’s natal Jupiter retrograde in Gemini is square Michael’s natal Moon in Pisces, in the 1st and 4th houses with Gemini rising, and in the 1st and 10th houses with Pisces rising.

Katherine Jackson

Michael’s mother, Katherine Scruse Jackson, was born on May 4, 1930 in Rutherford, Alabama, and married Joe Jackson on November 5, 1949 in Crown Point, Indiana. A devout Jehovah’s Witness and devoted mother, Katherine was Michael’s prime influence and inspiration offstage.

Katherine was born with natal Jupiter in Gemini, opposite Michael’s natal Saturn. With Gemini rising, it is conjunct Michael’s Ascendant. With Pisces rising, it is conjunct Michael’s IC.

Katherine’s natal Mercury and Venus in Gemini are square her natal Neptune retrograde and Michael’s natal Pluto and Sun in Virgo. This synastry aspect is in Michael’s 1st and 4th houses with Gemini rising, an in the 4th and 7th with Pisces rising.

Katherine’s natal Sun in Taurus is square Michael’s natal Uranus in Leo, from the 12th to the 3rd house with Gemini rising, and from the 3rd to the 6th house with Pisces rising.

Elizabeth Taylor

Among Michael’s closest friends in the last two decades of his life, Elizabeth Taylor was born on February 27, 1932 at 2 a.m. in London, England. Despite being twenty-six years apart in age, the two former child stars, tormented in similar ways by their experiences, related on a very deep level.

Taylor’s natal Sun and Mercury in Pisces are opposite her natal Neptune retrograde and Michael’s natal Sun in Virgo. With Gemini rising, this synastry opposition is in Michael’s 10th and 4th houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 1st and 7th houses.

Taylor’s natal Jupiter retrograde was conjunct Michael’s natal Uranus and Venus in Leo and her natal Moon in Scorpio. This synastry conjunction is in the 3rd house with a Gemini Ascendant, and in the 6th house with a Pisces Ascendant.

Elizabeth Taylor and Michael both have natal Uranus-Venus conjunctions, hers in Aries trine his in Leo. Again, this conjunction is in the 3rd house with Gemini rising and in the 6th house with Pisces rising.

Quincy Jones

Michael’s most successful musical collaborator, Quincy Jones was born on March 14, 1933 at 8:40 p.m. in Chicago. The co-producer of Off The Wall, Thriller, We Are The World and Bad, Michael’s work with Quincy was without question his most successful.

Quincy’s natal Jupiter retrograde in Virgo is opposite Michael’s natal Moon in Pisces. With Gemini rising, this synastry opposition is in the 4th and 10th houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 7th and 1st houses.

Quincy’s natal Mars retrograde, South Node and Neptune retrograde are conjunct Michael’s natal Sun in Virgo. This conjunction falls in Michael’s 4th house with a Gemini Ascendant, and in his 7th house with a Pisces Ascendant.

Diana Ross

Singer Diana Ross was born on March 26, 1944 at 11:46 p.m. in Detroit. Falsely touted as the one who discovered Michael Jackson, she was still a mentor and major inspiration to him, and was named as a possible guardian of his three children in his will.

Diana was born with natal Saturn in Gemini, directly opposite Michael’s natal Saturn in Sagittarius. With Gemini rising, her Saturn is in his 1st house. With Pisces rising, it is in his 4th house.

Curiously, just as Michael’s natal Uranus is square his mother Katherine’s natal Sun, Diana’s natal Uranus in Gemini is square his natal Sun in Virgo. This synastry aspect is in his 1st to 4th house with the Gemini Ascendant and in his 4th to 7th house with the Pisces Ascendant.

Just like Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross has natal Jupiter retrograde conjunct Michael’s natal Venus in Leo. This is in his 3rd house with Gemini rising and in his 6th house with Pisces rising.

Diana has natal Venus in Pisces, conjunct the Ascendant and Moon in Michael’s Pisces rising chart.

Liza Minnelli

Singer/actress Liza Minnelli was born on March 12, 1946 at 7:58 a.m. in Los Angeles. A close friend of Michael’s, he was present at the 1973 Academy Awards when she won Best Actress for Cabaret, appearing with his brothers as a performer and presenter, but their friendship developed more once he reached adulthood, and he served as best man at her 2002 wedding to David Gest.

Liza’s natal Jupiter is conjunct Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra. With Gemini rising, this synastry connection is in the 5th house. With Pisces rising, it is in the 8th house.

Liza’s natal Uranus in Gemini is conjunct Michael’s natal Ascendant in the Gemini rising chart, and square his natal Moon in Pisces in the Pisces rising chart.

Rebbie Jackson

The oldest Jackson child, Maureen Reillette Jackson, known as “Rebbie” (pronounced “Ree-bie”) was born on May 29, 1950 at 3 a.m. in Gary, Indiana. Ironically, despite being the least famous Jackson (although she has had some success as a singer), she is the only one for whom Katherine Jackson has stated a specific time of birth (p. 15). Like her mother, Rebbie is a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

Rebbie’s natal Sun in Gemini is square her natal Jupiter in Pisces and Michael’s natal Sun in Virgo. This synastry aspect spans the 10th, 1st and 4th houses with the Gemini Ascendant, and the 1st, 4th and 7th houses with the Pisces Ascendant.

Rebbie has natal Venus conjunct Michael’s South Node in Aries, opposite his natal North Node and Jupiter in Libra. With Gemini rising, this synastry opposition is in the 11th and 5th houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 2nd and 8th houses.

Rebbie has natal Saturn in Virgo, opposite the Ascendant and Moon in Michael’s Pisces rising chart.

Jackie Jackson

The oldest brother and member of the Jackson 5, Sigmund Esco Jackson, known as “Jackie”, was born on May 4, 1951 at St. Catherine’s Hospital in East Chicago, Indiana, where Katherine Jackson was visiting her mother. Jackie was the one who encouraged little Michael to take over the lead singer spot in the group when his stunning performance skills became impossible to ignore.

Jackie’s natal North Node is conjunct Michael’s natal Moon in Pisces. With Gemini rising, this synastry conjunction is in the 10th house, square the Ascendant. With Pisces rising, it is in the 1st house, conjunct the Ascendant.

Jackie’s natal Sun and Mars in Taurus are square his natal Pluto and Michael’s natal Venus in Leo. This synastry aspect goes from Michael’s 12th to 3rd houses with Gemini rising, and from his 3rd to 6th houses with Pisces rising

Jackie’s natal Mercury in Aries retrograde is opposite Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra. This synastry aspect is in Michael’s 11th to 5th houses with the Gemini Ascendant, and in his 2nd to 8th houses with the Pisces Ascendant.

Jackie’s natal Sun and Mars are also close to being conjunct Michael’s natal Mars in Taurus, setting a pattern for the dancers in the Jackson family that will be explored further. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in Michael’s 12th to 3rd houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 3rd to 6th houses.

Tito Jackson

The guitar-playing member of the Jackson 5, Tariano Adaryl Jackson (known as “Tito”) was born on October 15, 1953 in Gary, Indiana. Tito was the first family member to take up an instrument, and it was when he broke a string on Joseph’s guitar, which his father discovered when he got home from work, that the inspiration to form a band with the brothers began to take shape.

Tito’s natal Saturn is conjunct Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra, square Tito’s natal Lunar Nodes. With Gemini rising, the conjunction is in Michael’s 5th house. With Pisces rising, it is in his 8th house.

Tito’s natal Sun and Neptune are conjunct Michael’s natal North Node in Libra, square Tito’s natal Uranus in Cancer. Again, the Gemini Ascendant puts this synastry conjunction in Michael’s 5th house. The Pisces Ascendant puts it in his 8th house.

Tito’s natal Pluto is conjunct Michael’s natal Mercury retrograde in Leo. This aspect is in Michael’s 3rd house with Gemini rising, and in his 6th house with Pisces rising.

Tito was born as Jupiter in Gemini was making its retrograde station. This would be in Michael’s 1st house with the Gemini Ascendant, and in his 4th house with the Pisces Ascendant.

Jermaine Jackson

Jermaine LaJaune Jackson, bass player and the Jackson 5′s second lead singing voice, was born on December 11, 1954, again in Gary. His marriage to Motown boss Berry Gordy’s daughter Hazel Gordy led to his quitting the group when they left the label in 1975.

Jermaine’s natal Mars in Pisces is opposite Michael’s natal Sun in Virgo. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in the 10th and 4th houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 1st and 7th houses.

Jermaine’s natal Sun is conjunct Michael’s natal Saturn in Sagittarius. This synastry conjunction is on the Descendant with the Gemini Ascendant, and on the Midheaven with the Pisces Ascendant.

Jermaine’s natal Uranus retrograde conjunct Jupiter retrograde in Cancer is square his natal Neptune and Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra. This aspect is in Michael’s 2nd and 5th houses with Gemini rising, and in his 5th and 8th houses with Pisces rising.

Jermaine’s natal Venus-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio is square Michael’s natal Uranus-Venus conjunction in Leo. With the Gemini Ascendant, this aspect spans the 6th and 3rd houses. With the Pisces Ascendant, it spans the 9th and 6th houses.

Jermaine’s natal Pluto retrograde is conjunct Michael’s natal Mercury retrograde in Leo. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in the 3rd house. With Pisces rising, it is in the 6th house.

LaToya Jackson

Sister LaToya Yvonne Jackson was born on May 29, 1956 in Gary, six years to the day after her older sister Rebbie. LaToya also grew up a devout Jehovah’s Witness, but became a figure of scandal and controversy during the 1980s and 90s.

Interestingly, Jermaine and LaToya, the family’s two black sheep, are also the two family members born the week of a Venus station. Jermaine was born five days after Venus stationed direct in Scorpio, while LaToya was born two days before Venus stationed retrograde in Cancer.

LaToya’s natal Jupiter and Pluto are conjunct Michael’s natal Mercury retrograde in Leo, opposite her natal Mars in Aquarius, square her natal Saturn retrograde in Scorpio. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect spans Michael’s 3rd, 9th and 6th houses. With Pisces rising, it spans his 6th, 12th and 9th houses.

Also like Jermaine, LaToya has natal Neptune (retrograde) conjunct Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra, square her natal Uranus in Cancer. The aspect connects the 5th and 2nd houses with the Gemini Ascendant, and the 8th and 5th houses with the Pisces Ascendant.

Marlon Jackson

Marlon David Jackson is the brother closes to Michael in age, born on March 12, 1957 in Gary. He had a twin brother, Brandon, who died eight hours after birth.

Marlon’s natal South Node and Mars are conjunct Michael’s natal Mars in Taurus, square Michael’s natal Mercury retrograde in Leo. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in the 12th to 3rd houses. With Pisces rising, it is in the 3rd to 6th houses.

Marlon’s natal Venus and Mercury are conjunct Michael’s natal Moon in Pisces with the Pisces Ascendant, square Marlon’s natal Saturn in Sagittarius.

Stephanie Mills

Singer/actress Stephanie Mills was born on March 22, 1957 in Brooklyn. A Broadway sensation at the age of eighteen for her starring role in The Wiz, she was passed over for the movie role for a much-older Diana Ross. During the summer of 2007, she revealed that she and Michael had dated thirty years earlier, ironically during the time he was in NYC making the movie that could/should have included her.

Stephanie’s natal South Node conjunct Michael’s natal Mars in Taurus. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in Michael’s 12th house. With Pisces rising, it is in his 3rd house.

Stephanie’s natal Saturn in Sagittarius is conjunct the Descendant using the Gemini Ascendant, and square Michael’s natal Moon in Pisces using the Pisces Ascendant.

Debbie Rowe

Deborah Jeanne Rowe was born on December 6, 1958 in Palmdale, California, time unknown. Rowe was Michael’s second wife and is the mother of his two oldest children.

Debbie’s natal Venus and Mercury retrograde are conjunct Michael’s natal Saturn. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect is in Michael’s 7th house. With Pisces rising, it is in his 10th house.

Debbie’s natal Uranus retrograde is conjunct Michael’s natal Venus in Leo, square her natal Mars retrograde in Taurus and Jupiter in Scorpio. The synastry conjunction is in Michael’s 3rd house with Gemini rising, and in his 6th house with Pisces rising.

Randy Jackson

Baby brother Steven Randall Jackson (known as “Randy Jackson”, not to be confused with the American Idol judge with the same name) was born on October 29, 1961 in Gary. Randy began touring with the Jackson 5 in 1972, and then stepped in to replace Jermaine when the group left Motown and became The Jacksons in 1975.

Randy’s natal North Node is conjunct Michael’s natal Mercury retrograde in Leo. With Gemini rising, Randy’s natal South Node is also conjunct Michael’s natal Midheaven in Aquarius.

Prince Michael Jackson

Michael’s first child, son Prince Michael Jackson, was born on February 13, 1997 at 1:07 a.m. in Los Angeles. Originally thought to be the bioglogical son of Michael and wife Debbie Rowe, since Michael’s death it has since been suggested that he and sister Paris might actually be the progeny of Rowe and dermatologist Arnold Klein, for whom Rowe was working when she met Michael.

Prince’s natal Neptune-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn-Aquarius, as a recurrence of Michael’s natal Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Libra-Scorpio, was already discussed in the last blog.

Prince’s natal Neptune in Capricorn is square Michael’s natal Jupiter in Libra. With Gemini rising, this synastry aspect connects the 8th and 5th houses. With Pisces rising, it connects the 11th and 8th houses.

Prince’s natal Venus in Aquarius is opposite Michael’s natal Uranus in Leo. This synastry aspect crosses Michael’s 9th and 3rd houses with the Gemini Ascendant, and crosses his 12th and 6th houses with the Pisces Ascendant.

Prince and Michael both have Uranus and Venus conjunct, Prince in Aquarius and Michael in Leo, although in Prince’s it is within a larger stellium involving Jupiter and Mercury as well. “Blanket” Jackson

He was at the center of an infamous scandal at the age of nine months, when Michael dangled him over the edge of a balcony in Berlin, to tease the crowds below.

Blanket’s natal Sun in Pisces is opposite Michael’s natal Sun in Virgo, square Blanket’s natal Saturn in Gemini. This synastry aspect spans Michael’s 10th, 4th and 1st houses with the Gemini Ascendant, and his 1st, 7th and 4th houses with the Pisces Ascendant.
