Apparently Khloe Kardashian, sister of Kim Kardashian and co-star of the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, is into astrology.  Sort of.

Khloe wrote a post on her blog recently asking people if they believe in astrology, and talking a bit about her Sun-sign, Cancer, and how it relates to astrology.

She says that because she is a Christian she doesn’t “live by” astrology, and although I’m not really sure why being a Christian would conflict with astrology, it seems like she would probably be interested in the more advanced forms of astrology beyond Sun-sign stuff.

Here is part of what she wrote on her blog:

I am a Cancer which is a water sign that goes from mid-June to mid-July! I am hard as a rock on the outside but I am so sensitive on the inside. My sisters always make fun of me because I am so tough–but if they say something mean, it can really get me down. I guess when it comes to people I love, I can’t help but be sensitive. Their opinion is extremely important. Otherwise people, especially strangers, can say almost anything to me and I can brush it off.

I love learning about people’s signs and the traits that supposedly go with those signs.

When we look at her un-timed birth chart (we need her birth time for it to be complete) we can see why she identifies with the sign Cancer so strongly, with the Sun, Mercury and Venus placed there in a pretty close conjunction:

Notice that she has a lot of other planetary placements besides Cancer going on though, each of which describe different parts of her personality and life.  She has a pretty chatty Gemini Moon, but also a really close conjunction of Mars and Saturn in Scorpio which shows that there is a much more intense side to her personality.
